Factores de personalidad del modelo HEXACO como predictores de bienestar subjetivo

Resumen

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar si los rasgos de personalidad propuestos por el modelo HEXACO predicen los niveles de bienestar subjetivo (satisfacción con la vida, afecto posi- tivo y afecto negativo). Se trabajó con una muestra no probabilística, a distancia, de 266 participan- tes voluntarios de la Ciudad de México y su área metropolitana, con edades de 18 a 77 años. Los resultados mostraron la extraversión y agradabilidad como predictores del afecto positivo y la satis- facción con la vida, y los rasgos de extraversión, agradabilidad, emocionalidad y apertura a la expe- riencia, como predictores del afecto negativo. Con base en los resultados se concluye que el modelo HEXACO representa una propuesta adecuada para analizar el modo en que los rasgos de personali- dad predicen los componentes del bienestar subjetivo.
